Belgium lost 0-1 to Slovakia, in the Euro 2024 Group E match at Deutsche Bank Park Stadium, Tuesday (18/6).
Belgium, who were favoured in this match, controlled the game. Belgian possession is very dominant than Slovakia. 61 per cent compared to 39 per cent.
However, Belgium made a fatal mistake. A passing error gave Slovakia the lead in the 7th minute.
Belgian players made a passing error, which was then grabbed by the Slovakian penggawa. The ball was shot, but it was countered by goalkeeper Koen Casteels.

Belgium continued to attack. Belgium scored again through Lukaku in the 86th minute. Again, VAR should have authorised the goal after Lois Openda was seen touching the ball before passing to Lukaku.
No goals were scored, Belgium fell. This result makes Slovakia second in the Group E standings with 3 points from 1 match.
Losing on goal difference from Romania in first place with the same points. Followed by Belgium and Ukraine who still need to get points.
