Sheikh Jassim Al Thani has reportedly made up his mind about his decision to leave Manchester United. He will not make a new offer to buy the Red Devils.
Previously, Sheikh Jassim made an attractive offer to become the owner of Manchester United. The businessman from Qatar is willing to disburse up to 6 billion US dollars to acquire 100 per cent of Man United shares. This amount is higher than Man United's estimated value of only 3.5 billion US dollars.
Sheikh Jassim's offer is a package with fresh funds of up to 1.5 billion US dollars. The money is intended to build stadiums, build training facilities and buy players.
It doesn't stop there, Sheikh Jassim is also willing to pay off all of Manchester United's debts.
Unfortunately, this huge offer did not give the Glazer family the green light. They rejected the proposal submitted by Sheikh Jassim.
As a result, Sheikh Jassim chose to resign. Moreover, this was not the first offer to be rejected.
Sheikh Jassim's departure from the Manchester United sales process caused commotion among the supporters. Because Sheikh Jassim's offer is considered the most promising and Man United's future will be bright. A number of parties also hope that Sheikh Jassim will change his decision.
However, that won't happen. Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Sheikh Jassim is 100 per cent no longer interested in buying Manchester United.
He has no plans to change that decision. The Glazer family has also received this information.
Now, Manchester United's sales are entering a new phase. Reportedly, the Glazer family will sell 25 per cent of the club's shares to Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
